Expanding in a few directions (stage 1)
As you can tell, I love my studio. It has perfectly held me and my 100+ students. With the help of folks in my life with great taste and a willingness to put holes in walls made of weird materials, it has been a wonderful home for this adventure.
When my landlord said she was moving out of the remainder of the studio after 25 years in the building, I hesitated ( and worried) for a few nights wondering what I would do, and then it came to me. I can move into the larger section, adjacent to the windows - stretching out the space and giving us all a little more room in the sun. With more control over the larger space I can also welcome guest teachers. The first class will be held in the new studio space on Monday and I know I will find all the issues that need ironing (he he) out. But my students are a lovely and adaptable bunch and it should all work fine. I will keep the photos coming…
