Policies
For private sessions, students must give at least 48 hours notice of cancellation to receive a full refund. If you need to reschedule, all reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule the session.
If group class or workshop enrollment does not exceed 2 people by 72 hours before the first session, the workshop may be cancelled or rescheduled and students will receive a full refund.
For classes, full refunds will be available if you withdraw from the class a week or more before the first class OR if the class is cancelled for any reason. Credit for a future class will be offered for those withdrawing from a class or event a week to 24 hours before or in the case of extenuating circumstances.
Please notify Rachael via email if you will be missing a class. In rare cases we may be able to accommodate a class make-up. Class make-ups are not guaranteed.
Class Expectations
No matter how long someone has been sewing, challenges arise and mistakes happen. Sewing includes many steps that confound and delight different people in different ways which affects the speed of learning and making. It is common for students not to finish more complex projects completely. However, my goal is for you to gain enough confidence and skill in Studio that you can work to complete your project on your own.
