THE WORD ON THE STREET … (i.e. direct quotes from students)

“I like how Rachael teaches - it's a good mix of demonstrating and showing up, and then letting us loose.”

“It's a very beginner-friendly class that also allows for some personal creativity (I personally thought giving the students a choice of project options was fantastic) but also close mentorship and guidance. It made me feel supported but at the same time pretty independent too.”

“You are great with “working with what you’ve got”. Everyone is in a different place on their sewing journey and you meet them where they’re at, and help them forward.”

“I am amazed by your grace in tending all of the students. The way you float around the room and give everyone your time and attention. And that you don't lose your patience with all of the "Rachaels" that come your way.”

“These classes have been one of the highlights of my year! I love the convivial atmosphere and the individualized support. I'm noticing that I'm getting better because I'm able to trouble-shoot on my own for more things, but I appreciate that you are always there for some added support when needed! The space is beautiful and very well-organized for easy usage and flow with multiple people in class at a time.”

“I love the people, Rachael's patience and teaching style and the safe space to learn.”
